Skid Steer Training Certification For Bobcat Loaders

Skid steer training certification for bobcat loaders, like most of our onsite safety training course participants, are going to be ready to identify specific health and safety hazards related to operating a Skid Steer. Loaders aren't all an equivalent, but in most cases, the operating principles are equivalent. At your workplace, we'll use your equipment and make sure you have fully trained, qualified, and competent operators.

How Long Is Skid Steer Safety Training?

Theory training takes approximately three hours. All training is delivered on sight and scheduled for your convenience (off shifts, weekends, whenever, and wherever).

SKIDSTEER OPERATOR EVALUATION

Evaluation Objectives:

Each operator of a Skid Steer is going to be tested within the safe and efficient use of your equipment. Whenever possible, this may be done during production (this will leave an evaluation under the conditions Operators are going to be required to work their Skid Steer). Upon successful completion of the program, participants are going to be “Certified” as Skid Steer Operators.

Program Content:

Each Operator completes a Pre-shift inspection.

Observed learning A Load:

  • Attachment at the right height

  • Smooth stopping

  • Attachment level before entering

  • Load is centered

  • The load is stable for lifting and transporting

  • Load all thanks to the heel of forks

  • proper tilt for the sort of load

  • looks before baking up

  • stops in the least blind corners

  • proceeds with load at a secure height

  • proceeds at a secure speed

  • how to affect an obstructed view

Observed Stacking A Load:

  • Approach with pack

  • Looks behind before retreating

  • Raising load

  • Smooth operation

  • Levels load before fixing the place

  • Gently places

  • Ensures all people are at a secure distance

Propane Handling Observation If Applicable:

  • Review the physical characteristics of an on-site propane tank.

  • A complete overview of tank condition ( O-ring, collar, dating, soap solution check, etc.)

  • All participants will change a propane tank on a Skid Steer, or propane heater during a competent manner.

  • Review the evaluation form with the participant.

Parking:

  • Attachment flat to floor/ground

  • Tilt forward

  • Parking brake on

How Long Does The Operator Evaluation Take?

The average time to finish an “Operator evaluation” is one hour, for knowledgeable Operators. it's suggested that “new” Operators be instructed for a minimum of 4 hours before being evaluated.
